Apples make me think of Fall.
How many of you go to Cracker Barrel to eat? I know, it's not located EVERYWHERE but if you've eaten there once, you'll go back.
One of their treats is the fried apples.
I can't get to Cracker Barrel just now but I can certainly make me some fried apples!
These look delicious... I may just steal the recipe
ReplyDeleteThank you x
It's apple season (yeah) and apple recipes are always appreciated, Latane. I have never tried fried apples at Cracker Barrel, but thanks to you I now can make my own. Today, I made an apple crisp 😋
ReplyDeleteWe like Cracker Barrel and their apples. Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteNo, don't eat at Cracker Barrel. Recipe sounds and looks yummy. I've made a copy of it to try.
ReplyDeleteI had a slice of ham for dinner and I added some apple slices to the pan sprinkled with cinnamon. They got crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Yum.
ReplyDeleteYUM! Thanks for sharing, I will make a trip to Cracker Barrel and try these. Enjoy your evening dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI don't think we have Cracker Barrel stores in Canada. Those apples look so good I'm going to buy apples when I go shopping tomorrow and I'll make some. I can't help thinking how good they would taste over ice cream. Granny Marigold
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful penmanship! There is a Cracker Barrel forty miles away, but I'll fry my apples at home. I love them with a delicious pork chop.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any Cracker Barrels within driving distance but when we travel we eat there sometimes. I LOVE their fried apples. Thanks for the recipe, Latane. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIn Normandy we use to cook them with our Normand salted butter. Very tasty!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a wonderful recipe. Thanks Latane. I usually go to Cracker Barrel when we are traveling as there isn't one that close. It has wonderful meals on the menu.
ReplyDeleteThe fried apples look delicious, Latane. I remember reading about fried onions and apples in one of the Laura Ingalls books - the one about Almanzo's boyhood, and I've thought that would be delicious, too.
ReplyDeleteNo Cracker Barrel here.
Love fried apples in the fall...of course!!!! :-)
