Age Limits Action

As I age, my hands have just about given out on me. So are a lot of other pieces and parts! There's so much that I can't do anymore. When my son, Michael, saw that it was hard for me to pull that last corner of my fitted sheet down in place he gave me a set of sheets for Christmas. I absolutely love them.

They are made of 100% microfiber and are so soft it's almost like sleeping on a cloud. And, I can put them on the bed with no problem whatsoever. I am so lucky that I have loving, caring children who watch out for their Mama.

I was also having trouble vacumning so the solution to that was ordering me a Roomba.

The only problems I have now are opening jars and mopping. I have a great jar opener but it's so old that I am scared to death it will die on me before I do.😉
But, mopping. Well, that's another story.

  2. DH and I were watching a show where they were getting ready for a party at their house and someone sent over a whole crew to do the cleaning from top to bottom. I looked at DH and said, we could use that...

  3. I think about having cleaning help in the house because let's face it, most men (mine included) just don't seem to see the dust as we do! However, I'm one of those people who would feel it necessary to clean before the help arrived!
Lucky your 'kids' look out for you - they sound awesome always! Stay safe, and don't be doing anything physical which might end up hurting you dear.

  8. It is funny, Latane. I have always been really strong. However, my hands don't have nearly the strength they used to have. It drives me nuts! lol. Glad you got some fitted sheets that you love. Your son sounds like a gem. xo Diana

  9. I've got some hand issues, too and opening jars is my biggest challenge. I really need to look at any and every mechanical aid I can find. Hot water doesn't work anymore! The sheets sound fabulous. Take care and keep cozy!

  10. Age certainly does limit things!

But your son sounds like a lovely man.

My left hand has developed some arthritis, which doesn't go away. My regular doctor said to go to a hand specialist, who may give me a shot in it. I went to that practice, when my knee was hurting terribly, and a shot, fixed it. Sooooo... I think I should go.

    One more doctor!!!! Eeeeek! LOL

    Gentle hugs,
