Wow! Today is Summer Solstice! The beginning of Summer.
Last week I was in Alabama and the temps felt like summer. Michael and I arrived back in Virginia last night and I wake up to 58 degree weather! What the heck? But, the heat is coming. Oh how I dread it.
I am not a summer girl!
I am so thankful for the trip to my son Michael's and the safe journeys there and back.
He's a good son!

we have been having downright cold nights here in new jersey and i love it. the picture of michael and yourself is a good one, you both look good in your red for the christmas season. i have a michael too!!
ReplyDeleteOur summer is here in a big way. I use to love the heat and outdoors, not so much anymore. A/C is my friend. So glad you had a good and safe trip. Cool picture of you two.

I like in SW Michigan and the heat and humidity is here now, but hopefully not for long. I'm not a fan of that either.
My brother was in Alabama last week for work and also said it was so hot. Glad you got back home and it's a little cooler.

After a small break of blissfully cooler weather, it's now hot, hot, HOT again here in eastern South Carolina! You'd think I'd be used to it, since I've lived here my whole life, but the older I get the more the heat and humidity bother me. I love everything else about summer, though. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a summer girl either, though I'm a July baby. So far the weather is actually chilly and I wore a jacket today and long pants. I'm at the beach this weekend and I'm hoping for warmer weather. Take care!
