Today is Sunday, a cold but peaceful day here in Virginia.
I thought I'd share this photo of one of my Department 56 collection. It's the Knottinghill Church. I have other pieces which I have enjoyed in the past. But, didn't put them on display this year.
Do you have any Christmas collections that you enjoy? I'd love to learn about them.
We've changed it up over the years. Our Charlie Brown Christmas tree is my fave!
ReplyDeleteI like your collection! I don't have anything like that, but I do have a collection of wooden Santa head ornaments that my husband carved. I love seeing them on the tree each year.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like the church and the way you've arranged the trees and people. I collect those kind of houses and churches too . I have them on high shelves and keep them out all year around. You've given me an idea. I'll blog about them one day soon. GM
ReplyDeleteA couple of Christmases ago I ruthlessly purged my collection and now I mostly only use the things I really love. I have two sets of House of Hattan ornaments with a tree topper, and a collection of Laura Ashley ornaments and tree skirt. I also seem to have several Santas from over the years and I love pulling those out.
ReplyDeleteI have a snowman collection. But I haven't felt like getting them out this year and they're still in hibernation. I am going to get them out over the weekend and we'll leave them out into January.
ReplyDeleteWe have a Dept 56 village, appropriately the New England one which was started when we lived in NJ. It is rather large now and we alternate putting it up every season. This year, we set up the tree instead as there is not toom for both in our apt.
