Busy As A Bumble Bee

It just refuses to get Winter around here.

That's ok with me. I just know that when it does hit, it's gonna be a doozey.
So, on a pretty warmish day recently I ran to the grocery store and stocked up on paper towels, toliet tissue and kleenex. I am PREPARED!!😀

Things have been hopping around my apt. complex. I'm busy as a bumble bee.

We started having church services here on Monday mornings. I'd been disgruntled with my church so this is filling a void I had and I am thrilled about that.

I got my hair cut.
I am not coloring it anymore so every cut I do, a little more of the gray shines through. It's about to drive my daughters to distraction. They think I will look "washed out".
 TOO BAD.

I mean, I've earned every single gray hair on my head.
And, they helped put a few there! 😀

We have Happy Hour.
I know, when you hear Happy Hour you think of booze and more booze.
Even though there is some wine available (along with the sodas and tea) few partake.
What we go for is the entertainment.
This week we had a guy who sang and played oldies style music
And, could he ever play that guitar.
I don't think I've ever heard anyone any better.

Next week I've selected a bunch of activities I want to do. And, then, there is my own stuff I like to do. Like I say, busy, busy, busy. I love it.

See you Monday when I post my Monday Memories.

  2. Way to go dear Latane!
"Keep on keeping on" as they say.
Yes, I'm concerned that if it does snow it will be a big one - that's how it is here in the southeast.
    Enjoy the weekend - Mary

  3. Well here in North Texas we had 70F on Friday and 31 (with a little snow)
this morning (Saturday). Strange weather. As for the gray/white hair - I'm happy with mine. My cousins in New Orleans both tried it for a time, then went back to coloring. So I say try it and see.

  5. Sounds like lots of fun happening where you are. I keep my hair blonde to cover the gray. Every time the gray roots start showing, I contemplate leaving it alone. Perhaps soon I will do like you. Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
