On a good note:
Daughter Shirley is home from the hospital but is still very sick. She is the only child I have living near me and now that she is quarantined and doesn't feel up to visitors or should she be having any, this is the first Christmas I will ever spend alone in my entire life. Why don't you all come over and visit.... I'd love that.

ReplyDeleteThis is good news about Shirley. I hope her recovery is swift and complete. Christmas alone for the first time - that would be novel indeed. I've never had one. I hope that you find community where you live and that your day will be a happy one.
ReplyDeleteI hope that sweet memories sustain you -- until Shirley feels well enough for more shenanigans!
ReplyDeleteI won't be there physically but I'll remember you on Christmas day and wishing you a Merry Christmas! I have a feeling that your kids will call you on Christmas day. It's so good to hear that Shirley is out of the hospital.
ReplyDeleteHealing prayers for Shirley sent her way ❤️

Merry Christmas to you, Latane, from Patrick and myself and if we lived closer you would be invited to join us as we often had neighbors join us when we lived in VA. It was wonderful to read that Shirley is home and hope she will be felling well enough to welcome in the New Year next week.
ReplyDeleteSorry that she is still not feeling well. Sending her well wishes.
