Christmas Eve

 On a good note:

Daughter Shirley is home from the hospital but is still very sick. She is the only child I have living near me and now that she is quarantined and doesn't feel up to visitors or should she be having any, this is the first Christmas I will ever spend alone in my entire life. Why don't you all come over and visit.... I'd love that.

  2. This is good news about Shirley. I hope her recovery is swift and complete. Christmas alone for the first time - that would be novel indeed. I've never had one. I hope that you find community where you live and that your day will be a happy one.

  7. I visited my client yesterday. She was inviting others from her apartment for a pot luck!
I have spent many a Christmas alone, when the kids went to their father's house. It's not easy.

  8. Merry Christmas to you, Latane, from Patrick and myself and if we lived closer you would be invited to join us as we often had neighbors join us when we lived in VA. It was wonderful to read that Shirley is home and hope she will be felling well enough to welcome in the New Year next week.
