What a day Tuesday.
Hadn't been to Olive Garden in years. There's not one close to me but Shirley had driven me to Southpark for an appt about my hearing aids and there was an Olive Garden just calling my name!!
I tried something new to me, cheese ravioli covered with meat sauce and that more than yummy salad! I scoffed as much as I could and brought the rest home for dinner that night. Enjoying it twice is better than once, don't you think?
My new hearing aids will be in in two weeks. I can't wait.

Olive Garden is good! Glad those hearing aides are on the way.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby has tinnitus, not a good thing!
Good for you for getting your hearing aides sorted out. I have had tinnitus for years and it gets really bad when I have a head cold. I've sorted my astigmatism out with tests and new glasses. I will be heading for my hearing check next. I used to go to Olive Garden every month with my friends. Wonderful food and yours looks very appetizing.
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious! I love Olive Garden but can't get past ordering their salmon every time.
ReplyDeleteTom has a hearing test at Costco next Wednesday.
I just had a hearing appointment last month and was relieved to find it had not gotten worse - that being said, I can barely hear out of the right and the left side isn't much better. I have been faithfully wearing my hearing aids for about 15 years and it has made such a difference in my life! Might get new ones at the end of this year - so expensive!
ReplyDeleteSam's club hearing aids, the high end ones, cost me $1,600 as opposed to the nearly $4,000 I had going to an ENT. An audiologist tested me. I was well pleased. I understand Costco also does this.
DeleteI have heard lots of good things about Sams Club hearing aids! Hope you like yours!
ReplyDeleteNow I am really hungry for Olive Garden. I always get the same thing. Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. Their salad is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you got the hearing test but sorry to hear that the results are worse than you expected. It will be wonderful to hear good again. Hugs- Diana
Hello, my friend. Cheese ravioli sounds delicious! And I am glad you got checked and will be hearing better very soon. Just yesterday, my son walked out onto the screened in porch where I was sitting, and asked me what that horrible sounds was. What sound? He said it was a horrible high pitched one. I didn't hear anything! Guess I need an appointment! LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope your hearing aids, when they arrive, work well for you. Most people that need them find they work well. Unfortunately my DH is not one of them. His don't seem to help much at all.
