I keep having some UTI issues so I made an appointment at Urgent Care for yesterday afternoon at 2:20.
Got there at 10 til 2.
Guess what time I got out of there!!
Yep.... almost 3 hours later. 10 til 5..........
You can't get in to see your regular doctor anymore and then have to wait all afternoon in Urgent Care..
I was sooooo bored. My back hurt, my butt hurt and my legs hurt, all from sitting so long in those uncomfortable waiting room chairs.
As they say "If you aren't sick when you go to the doctor.... you will be when you get out".

That's crazy to have to wait that long! And you even had an appointment! Yikes. I hope they got you all taken care of and the UTI is getting better.
ReplyDeleteUuugh - that's awful! Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThat's terrible. I hope you will be feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteThe waits in urgent care and ER can be brutal. I hope you are all healthy again soon.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry. Those are not fun. Hope you are better soon.
ReplyDeleteI agree with that saying! Poor you! And you even had an appointment. Same here; usually my dr doesn't have an appointment for days (which would be free for my healthcare) and I decide on urgent care (which costs under my insurance, a co-pay) and my dr would've given me better care. Next time I will just wait for my dr. andrea
ReplyDeleteThe waits in a hospital ER are so terrible. But at least you will (eventually) get treatment. I am not a fan of urgent care centers. They are marketed as being efficient and fast, but most of the time they are anything but. Feel better soon!! I hope you got the care you needed. (:
ReplyDeleteI once got well while waiting in the waiting room of an urgent care and left after 5 hours. They couldn't find a doctor to see patients.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I were just talking about how we used to get right in to our doctor, and now you have to wait months to be seen (even if very sick). It's crazy how the wait time is so long and frustrating. You are right though. Urgent care is the only option when needed immediate assistance.
ReplyDeleteHope that the long wait resulted in your finally getting to see someone and also to get some relief, Latane.
ReplyDeleteWaiting to see a doctor is a problem everywhere now it seems. Last night my BIL went to the ER and waited 8 hours to see a doctor. He & his wife were not impressed ( but luckily he'll be okay).
ReplyDeleteI hope you got help and are on the mend.
