Our mayor has submitted something to get it stopped. We'll see if anything happens. I wish they would end it. The fact that we have light whenever we need it now (no reason to save lamp oil and wood for the fireplace anymore) means we don't have to 'save' daylight.
I dislike daylight savings time. For half the year my car clock is one hour off because I'm too lazy to open the manual and figure out how to change the clock.
If you have babies, pets, or on a medication schedule, the time changes are very difficult. It is an intrusion into our lives, and I'd vote for whoever could get it cancelled.
I just posted about the time change. I DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL. I don't care which one we keep but let's just leave it one way or the other. It is hard to get used to one and then it changes again, SO MANY clocks to change too:( SO... that's what I think about time change. I have heard that we should have a vote on stopping the time change, but we will see. Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
I don't like daylight savings time change in the spring. The days stay light longer anyway. I never see anyone working the fields late at this time. I would just as soon keep it the way it is now.
Cute illustration and I think they tried that several years ago. I wish they would try again. Happy November to you Latane :)
ReplyDeleteI understand it has to get Federal approval to abolish DST. Come on Congress, I hear 19 states have vote for it to stop, including my state in 2019.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, they can get important things done, so I doubt daylights savings is on the agenda!

ReplyDeleteI hate it. I would prefer that they just leave it at summer time, which I guess is actually DLS
ReplyDeleteWell, I have to admit that I always look forward to the Fall Back hour so I can get an extra hour of sleep without feeling guilty. ha!

ReplyDeleteThey are taking about it, at least!
